e05dBarbara Goodman[SiL;A;gA] died after her mother, Doris Winifred Goodman, fell down stairs toward the end of her pregnancy, so sadly she was stillborn. It was said, at the time, that if she had lived, she would have been severely disabled. Her dad, George James, buried her in a small white coffin. About 10 years later a friend of Shirley (Sister), gave birth to a girl and could not decide of a name for her. Shirley suggested Barbara after her sister.
