George died 1973 (1973 quarter 4, Lambeth, folio 5d page 17) in Lambeth, at 64 years of age. In 1911 he was living at 41 Marcia Road, Bermondsey. He married twice. He married g044 May Ellen Brittle [A;gA;2gA] in Croydon in 1931 (1931 quarter 1, Croydon, folio 2a page 586). May was born 1909 (1909 quarter 1, Wandsworth, folio 1d page 664). May died 1960 (1960 quarter 1, Petersfield, folio 6b page 455) in Petersfield, at 51 years of age. At 22 years of age May became the mother of George T Horder in Croydon. 1931. At 25 years of age May became the mother of May C Horder in Surrey Mid E, 1934. At 28 years of age May became the mother of Leslie J Horder in Surrey Mid E, 1937. At 33 years of age May became the mother of Pauline Horder in Portsmouth, 1942. At 36 years of age May became the mother of Malcolm A Horder 1945 Portsmouth.
Because he and May were catholic, they would not divorce. George waited till May died, then he married g055 Eve Grace Cross [A;gA;2gA] in Southwark, 1961 (1961 quarter 1, Southwark, folio 5d page 1163). There was a daughter, Jean, from this relationship being born after 1945. Apparently when Jean found out of her illegitimacy, she broke her relationship with her boyfriend and refused to speak to her parents. At 22 years of age George became the father of George T Horder in Croydon, 1931. At 25 years of age George became the father of Mary C Horder in Surrey Mid E, 1934. At 28 years of age George became the father of Leslie J Horder in Surrey Mid E, 1937. At 33 years of age George became the father of Pauline Horder in Portsmouth. 1942. At 36 years of age George became the father of Malcolm A Horder 1945 Portsmouth.
