In 1911 he was living at Northgate, Tickhill. He had 3 sons and 3 daughters. His occupation was a colliery winding engineer - lowering and raising the cages down the mine. He was a noted musician, playing the cornet in works brass bands, but mainly in Salvation Army bands. He moved to Langold Notts in January, 1923, and assisted in the sinking of Firbeck Main Colliery. In 1939 he was living at 81 White Avenue, Langold. Worksop. He was a colliery Winding Engineman. He retired in 1945.

In 1901 she was living at Scotia Banks. She had 3 sons and 3 daughters. In 1911 she was living at Northgate, Tickhill. In 1939 she was living at 81 White Avenue, Langold. Worksop.

She was eldest daughter of Thomas and Lizzie Garner. In 1911 she was living at Northgate, Tickhill. In 1939 she was living at 81 White Avenue, Langold. Worksop. She was a school cleaner.

In 1939 he was living at 81 White Avenue, Langold. Worksop. He was a colliery Winding Engineman. He died on 5 August 1973 (1973 quarter 3, Doncaster, folio 2b page 786). He was musical and played the accordian. In 1947 (1947 quarter 4, Doncaster, folio 2b page 895) he married j09Ethel Selwood. (The official record shows Selwood and Selway).
