John Edward was a Cockney and before the war was an acrobat on the stage being half of the 'Neslo Brothers'. He was in the army during the war, being a P.T. trainer. He was seconded to the RAF and there met Frances. and they married in 1942. They had two children, John and Jacqueline (Jackie). During 1955, the family emigrated to Brisbane, Australia, returning back to England in 1958. John Edward sadly died in 1994 aged 79. Frances died in 2003 aged 87.
